Sleep Help

Online sleep consultations for children of every age

If sleep is not working in your house, a private 30-minute consultation can save you weeks of guesswork. Calm, gentle, evidence-based, and tailored to your child.

Sleep is one of the top three reasons parents reach out for a consultation. After forty-five years in pediatrics, I have helped thousands of families through every variety of sleep struggle, from newborns who will not settle to teens who cannot fall asleep before midnight.

What I can help with

  1. Newborn sleep

Day-night confusion, short naps, frequent night waking, the basics of safe sleep, and what is realistic in the first three months.
  2. Baby and infant sleep training

Choosing an approach that fits your child's temperament and your emotional capacity. Building a routine that holds. Knowing what is normal and what is not.
  3. Toddler sleep battles

Bedtime stalling, getting out of bed, early waking, scary dreams, the transition out of the crib.
  4. Elementary and middle school sleep

Trouble falling asleep, anxiety at bedtime, screens, the wind-down hour, and what to do when sleep has slowly fallen apart.
  5. Teen sleep

Phase delay, screens, anxiety, school start times. We build a realistic plan that respects teen biology and family life.

How a sleep consultation works

We meet for thirty private minutes on video. You walk me through your child's sleep history, your current routine, and what is and is not working. I ask questions to understand the underlying pattern. We build a clear, doable plan together. Most families report meaningful change within one to two weeks.

Frequently asked

What ages do you help with sleep?
Newborn through teens. Sleep challenges look very different at each age and the right approach is age-specific.
Will you give me a strict cry-it-out plan?
No. There is a wide spectrum of evidence-based sleep approaches and the right one depends on your child's temperament and what you can sustain emotionally. The plan we build will fit your family.
How fast does sleep training work?
Most families see real change within 5 to 7 nights of consistency and a settled new pattern within 2 weeks.
Can you help with toddler bedtime battles?
Yes. Toddler sleep is one of the most common reasons parents reach out. The fix is usually about routine, limits, and parent consistency, not a particular sleep technique.
What about teens who cannot fall asleep?
Teen sleep problems are usually a mix of biology, screens, and anxiety. We can sort through which factors are at play and build a real plan.
